Unfortunately dont have really the time to fix it anymore, nor do I think I'll ever have for a reaaaally long time :/ so for anyone who`s gonna subscribe keep in mind of this bug, even though I didnt seem to have it when I was testing two years ago

Just to be clear the "_illum" stands for the illumination map which is denoted on your texture files like _i. Just in case you thought "_illum" was a completely separate map! :D

@templeofdoom Thanks for the input, I was not aware that a _ilum map would make a difference. I did not, however, experience this flashing thing at all, and as soon as I get working on texturing my new F40 project I'll take a look at that.
Thanks for leaving that, I did not know a _ilum texture matters.

@frankerzederededed - your vehicle may flash when turning because there is no _illum map associated with the LOD. Many vehicles have proper _illum maps for the regular model but do not supply them for the LOD, so when you are zoomed out you see a flashing vehicle from far away but not up close.

It seems the number of ratings itself is also factored in, so the 3 stars is actually a more pessimistic representation even if everyone who rated your asset loves it!

According to Valve, "the total number of ratings is factored in. We use what's called a bayesian average (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayesian_average )."

oh wow. I haven't really experienced that bug at all with my asset. Can someone please explain it a little bit more detailed, if possible with a screenshot?
