@blackie Disable all mods, then enable only mine. Obviously you have another mod that alters the levy troops skin. If not, well, then I am not sure if I altered them that much :)

yes. Mercian levy troops still look the same like in vanilla. is there a new skin for them?

@Freed Rey Download the Assembly kit from your tool library. there are tutorials on the net on how to alter them :)

@Freed Rey Kite shields are the latest, most anticipated set of shields. People wanted me to use these and so I did :) Infact I want to use them myself. You can go and alter the mods yourself but only for personal use :steamhappy:

Hey man, can you replace kite shields for round shields ?? Kite shields came to england only in 1066 with the normans.

Because I wish you weren't using the kite shields so I could use your mod lol, take it as a compliment.
If your interested in historical accuracy the Osprey books which also have pics online show through their findings what these men dressed like.

Well, the thing is i have no clue of the historical accuracy. Infact, im not making my mods out of historical accuracy. I go, lets say, 50/50 on that. Good looking/Sort of historical accuracy

I know, just saying I'd of preferred yours if it was more historically accurate regarding the Kite shields, yours has the better textures and colours but I just can't handle the shield inaccuracy lol.

I actually chose to use another Mercia reskin instead of this one because of the Kite shields ( I like historical only) but thanks for the efforts of all modders anyway.

Well. They got what they wanted though. Bland units with round shields fighting in tunics and using spears.

Absolutly beautiful mod, as are all your reskins! Great effort mate. However would it be popssible to do a mercin reskin without the kite shields as they arent really from 8th century England? Or withought the leader change. I like by black beard with the sword xD But this mod is still excellent to hide those aweful blook colours of the units!

Yes all General model animtions for the campaign map use sword animations which why the muslims Stab people with maces

Yeah, i cant do anything about that :( Its an animation issue. It means i have to change it within the DB files and i have no power over that.

Just a quick compaint, nothing major. When winning battles sometimes it appears that King Offa's avatar uses his big ol' axe as a sword (stabbing it through the other avatar's throat)

Like I said, nothing major, it just looks a little silly on the campaign map :P

All those would do since in an era like that it was rare that they had uniformed equipment so it is rather weird to have some unit only with some shields and some without
