Not sure if there's been a new update in the past few weeks, but this tactic isn't working wonders like it used to. It used to be that no matter what team I managed, this tactic would never fail me, but in my new save I can't manager to win a game, so I've unfortunately had to scratch it.

Dear Reckonist! I had alot of fun with this tactic before 16.3.0 but its not working anymore! The defence is completely of! Any tweaks you can suggest? Or you have any other tactics working better for the last patch? I know people say 16.3.0 had no changes but i have to say that what used to work sure as hell doesent anymore!

Can you explain why this tactic use control but seem so face paced. Also can I switch my flanks if I also flips my forward and CB roles?

Super tactic for small clubs also. Using this in the English conference south woth Bishops Stortford (bang average/poor team). Currently 2nd with 10 games to go and only narrow loses to better teams..

Have been using for the first season with Liverpool, after a bad start of winning just three matches of the first 20 in the season was able to finish at 4th after switching to this tactic. made a little tweak for the second season and now won the first four matches even though it must be noted we got dumped out of the champions league qualifiers.

Won the PL in my first season (by 15 points!),, using only the current UTD players. Knocked out Real Madrid and Barcelona on my way to the CL final and lost on penalties against Juve.. Goes without saying you should have 2 other tactics to rotate with this one,,, but using this tactic as your main one works wonders.

Awesome tactic, won league in 2nd season (didn't discover this tactics until then) and Europa Cup, now on track for the quadruple of league, FA Cup, League Cup and Champions League. Only needs a little tinkering now and then to keep the team on track. Thank-you!!!:steamhappy:

Easily my favourite tactic to use after i tried. Just tweak a bit sometimes to not play offside.

if you want rooney to play well you should put him at a defensive forward role! same with jamie vardy! nice tactic tough! cheers!

Started a new game managing the New YorK Cosmos. The tactic is doing wonders with them also so you don't need a star packaged club like Man. Utd. for this tactic to work.

Currently 3rd with Swansea in my first season. Playing Eder-Gomis up front and switching it up with Gayle-Gomis (got him for 5 mil he's on the TL at the start of the season most of the times)

Gilfi was scooped up by Chelsea and I replaced him with Praet but looking back you have decent replacements as Roaming Playmaker in Ki and Shelvey. Ayew is a dream as an Advanced Playmaker on the right and Monteiro is deadly on the left. Only weak(ish) spot is Centre Midfielder but Britton does a good job at that (Cork is ♥♥♥♥ for some reason idk). I got Sven Bender from Dortmund in the winter to create some depth at that position and he is a lot better than the aging Britton.

Defence is pretty solid too I didn't need any new players and Naughton has been a dream at left back for me.

Started using this tactic about 8 games into the season with Southampton having previously won 2, drawn 3 lost 3 and lying in 15th place in the league. Fastforward to the end of the season Won the Premier League and FA Cup, final of Europa League Cup. Only lost 5 games all season in the league. I find it works best with pacey, high work rate strikers. Jay Rodriguez bagged 37 goals and Shane Long 34.

Overall great tactic. :-)

@fedq.sumkin Be assertive and tell your team to CONCENTRATE. I cannot stress how effective this is in the last few minutes of a match.

Wow...I love this tactic. Just beat Barcelona in the Champions League final! 1-1 draw decided by penalty shootout! De Gea blocked two!

Couldn't resist the money. I didn't actively seek to offload him but Chelsea made a bid I couldn't refuse. Besides I needed the money to offset what I spent on Reus.

Very interested to try this! Looks this great!! Although, I might try an overlap (as this happened a lot under previous United sides, Neville & Beckham etc) my be a little more expressive too and attacking! Cant wait to give it a go!

Part 2. I moved Darmian to centre with McNair, Jones and Blackett and they've been surprisingly solid. Mario Fernandes took over the right fullback spot and hasn't looked back. He is absolutely deadly with his pinpoint passing and crossing. Martial , Ibrahimovic and Berardi have been unstoppable up front and Marco Reus is an unstoppable livewire who disrupts the opposition defense with his dribbling and runs. Neves has been solid in the middle with Schweinsteiger and Herrera, although Schneiderlin has been a disappointment. Barbosa started of very slow but he's really starting to come around late in the season and Rudy is a solid utility player with high teamwork marks and great decision making..

Great Tactic. The best I've found so far. Just beat Tottenham 6-1 with it. I did a complete overhaul of Manchester United. Sold Carrick to Tottenham for £1.8 mil, Young to AS Monaco for £12.5 mil, Rooney to Arsenal for £20.5 mil, Valdes to AS Saint Etienne for £975 k, Rojo to AS Monaco for £9.25 mil, Fellani to Sevilla for £5 mil, Smalling to Chelsea for £16.5, Valencia to Swansea for £2.3 mil, Blind to Bayern for £23 mil and Sergio Romero (January transfer) to LA Galaxy for £750k. Turned around and bought Marco Reus for £52 mil, Gabriel Barbosa for £14.75 mil, Domenico Berardi for £28 mil, Sebastian Rudy for £9.25 mil, Mario Fernandes for £15 mil, Ruben Neves on loan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic for a bargain £10.5 mil.

Just started this with United sold Fellani to PSG for £18.5 million Rooney to Chelsea for £23 million with £5 million if he scores 30 goals also sold Carrick to Spurs for £2.3 million Valdes to Stoke for £1.7 million tried selling Young no luck yet. I bought Volland to replace Rooney for £60 million Dragovic for £18.75 million and Calleri for £6.75 million but loaned him back till end of December. Transfer window still open only done my reserve game friendley so far
