Can you please release a version of this skin with the default L4D2 katana attac animations? Thanks! Also the Glowing Letters skin for the katana from Killing Floor 2 is looking good.

@Benni, If that's true, then I can't explain why. Does the changed animation effect the hitbox any like it does in a game such as Dark Souls or other fighting games? Because that could be why it seems so much more powerful than the game's base katana swings. Also, for your crackling sounds, you can try running "snd_updatecache" I think it's called in the console to see if it fixes it.

I absolutely love this addon. The sounds and animations are stunning, but I have one minor quip with the sounds: everytime I hit there is a slight, but extremely noticable "crackling sound". This is especially noticable on higher sound volumes.

@Sprinkles You do realize that this just changes the texture, animation and sound of the weapon, but the weapon stats? Otherwise it wouldn't work on online servers. Also there would be a clear exclamation that this weapon is a scripted weapon that tinkers with the stats. Which is not the case. I do admit that some weapon skins just feel better than others, but that's it.

The sped up animation speed combined with the extended, wide-sweeping hitbox of this mod seems to make this melee weapon feel pretty imbalanced. I dug through several pages of comments and I'm amazed to see no one else comment on that. I guess I'm alone in that opinion? I love the look and animation of this mod though. Just wish it were slightly nerfed a little for balance. Playing the same missions back to back with the base katana and this one, it's night and day. It's like switching the game difficulty down a notch! The Talos Principle Axe seems like an ideal a balance between a better more useful swing animation without skewing the balance too much.
