for some reason the ship will always bank sideways and fall towards the planet some time after i stop controlling it, even if i leave it totally stopped and completely paralell to the surface and with the ventral thrust pointing downwards

Very cool. I normally use the rotor trick to make tables for executive board room. Never though of doing a full cockpit that way.

try tweaking the strength of the connector in the interface.

SE has also had many ongoing issues when trying to connect ships....

@Malchron yeah, i recommend turning welders off before firing the missile so that doesn't happen. it's also a good idea to fire a missile before moving the ship (have an empty missile bay), because sometimes the rotor and missile doesn't play nice with SE physics.

cheers for doing a vanilla build,
i love your builds and while i can and do use mods but i hate lt when a ship gets mod-bloate and takes forever to load and/or laggs the world out.

its also realy nice not to need the damn things.

LAARPs, Drones, Small Grid Bridge, Vanilla. Damn man, this is even more awesome than I thought it was going to be! You've set the bar for large grid atmospherics somewhere in the stratosphere. :D
