I found out what's causing it. In materials/models/apocmodels/smash3ds/shulk/shulk_face.vmt, it's looking for a phong texture under models/apocmodels/smash3ds/phong. However, it doesn't exist, causing this to occur. Here's the missing texture, it needs to go under materials/models/apocmodels/smash3ds/. It's working and everything, but the face has similar errors to the pink and black squares, but instead, it has Shulk's face color and white squares, but it's only the face.
