Why does the U.S. only control such a tiny part of alaska in the screenshots?

My only suggestion is to rename the city states' cities to the name of their capitals IRL and keep the names of the city-state's temselfes to their IRL countries. Like in the Earth 2014 mod. Also, get rid of imaginary cities like 'great lakes' and 'south-east' and replace them with real cities. Also, add important countries like Australia and the Koreas.
