Last I remember doing with the mod was make animations for it - it was ready to go, but I never made a mod out of it.
I'll check around on other hard drives and flash drives for the source files.

Disappointing; I had hoped that Gopher would be well on the way towards a working NPC by now. However, I see no reason why Chipstix213 shouldn't pick up the torch and carry on at this point. Chipstix213, can you forward me an e-mail so we can move forward? I would be happy for you to work on this project.

Arrakis, Gopher retired and pulled all his mods for some reason. Chipstix can take up the task but they need your source files and permission.

Wünsche auf jedenfall gute besserung Ihres Vaters. Achso vieleicht kann man auch ne version machen wo das Alien sich auch bewegen könnte sowie auch eier oder sogar die Queen selber das wäre mal nice. Oder noch ne Idee mit Türen aus den Alien Filmen. Würde mich sehr freuen sofern sie dann die Zeit haben. Und nochmal Gute besserung.

Chipstix213, I do have someone else working on it at the moment; let me check in with him to see if he would like some assistance. I think it's fantastic that you would like to help. As I say, my dad has been ill for quite some time, and although I have been planning to do it myself, I just have't had the time, so I am thrilled that there is so much interest in getting this project off the ground.

Perhaps. That is the plan. We will need to be patient and see how it develops. I absolutely agree that it is a most exciting proposition, however, and look very forward to seeing and playing the final result!

Thanks guys. I'm so sorry about your father, T. Sapien. It changes your world, to be sure, going through an illness prior to losing someone, and certainly afterwards. And Gopher, regarding that Alien; I'll be anxious to see him creeping around one of my planetoid bases someday soon as the result of your efforts. :)

My dad would like that; as a matter of fact, when I was lying on the couch sick one afternoon as a teenager, he brought a couple of movies home for me to see that he thought I would like that I had never seen before: Alien and Predator. Naturally I fell in love with them and now have Aliens (and Predator and other sci-fi) memorabilia all over the house... including a full sized replica of an Alien egg with Facehuggers coming out of it that lights up... pulses, actually in various colors!

I hope your father gets better soon, Arrakis.

hey, it's fine if you can't work on it. I lost my dad back in october this year and I know the importance. you do whatever it takes to make the time you have with him precious because life's a ♥♥♥♥♥ and it'll pick the moment you least suspect to steal people from you so you never get a chance to say goodbye.

That being said, 12/10, massive thanks you're willing to let somebody else carry the torch. Modding belongs to the community, content comes before fame and I respect that.

My apologies for the late reply; I've been terribly busy. My father has had 7 trips to the OR in the past month and he remains in the ICU. He has been ill for quite a while, so unfortunately I haven't had the time to devote to modding or even responding like I used to. Hopefully at some point I'll be able to again, but for now and the foreseeable future, I have to be content with simply playing a game here or there when I can catch a couple of hours at my desk or on the laptop.

In the meantime, Gopher, why don't you take the Alien as you had requested and make it into an NPC mod for SE? Since I don't have time to do it right now as I have been planning, there isn't any reason everyone else should be deprived. I would be more than happy for you to do it. Please take the model from one of my very favorite movies and finish the job for me. It'll be a team effort! Fantastic idea, Gopher & Orthopaktis! Do me proud!

You should have really considered working with Gopher to make this into an NPC mod I feel like we are losing out on so much potential and quality that your mod would offer in games!

Well, I've haven't been active with modding for a while, to be honest because my father has been requiring quite a bit of care unfortunately, but someone commented recently that the textures need updating on one of them so I may need to try and find some time to look at updating some of my mods again. It may help take my mind off of things a bit with something I enjoy that would give everyone else a bit of a smile also.

I can't promise anything, certainly, but I'll have a look at my aliens again while I am doing it to see what I would have to do to make it work and how long it would take. Hope everyone had a fantastic holiday. :)
