just tried in a test world, it loads fine. A few tips:
do you have other mods for drills? have you tried unsubbing and subbing again to redownload it?

It doesn't seam to be any difference in Primary Mode but does in Secondary Mode.

I am not sure but basically if they work with the vanilla drills they will work with this mod.

Doesn't seem to work in Space Engineers 01.179.103, April 4, 2017.

I tested it in Singleplayer, made sure that the Large Drills needed 53 Construction Components, turned on the drills, and gently pressed the drills into the voxel surface. Only small amounts of material were mined, with only minor dents in the voxel surface.

I don't know, please let me know. It should be fast to check: make an empty world in survival, check that large drill needs 53 construction components instead of 40.

Not at the moment (tool modding was not yet possible when I edited this). I might do it in the future though.

i agree, im sick of drills exploding while mining. no engineer would build a drill that can't do its job.

It's the overall mining radius. Basically, making a vanilla array of vanilla drills is about the same as having an array with modded drills placed at every other block.
