All my piston/rotor merged creations spin wild on planet grav.
I did this after an attempt to move the lift resulted in me being beaten to death by the insides of the basket. Seatbelts save lives.
A useful consequence of this is it's easier to mount the basket from the ground. When I leave the seat I'm standing in the basket not back on the ground.
Another change is I've set rotor limits after the rotors went too far and caused the lift to launch itself in a tumble across the ground. (KEEN, fix the damn rotors already)
Due to limitations in the Blueprint system it's not possible to use a projector to display a blueprint with multiple grids/parts separated by pistons or rotors.
Set limits to the rotor angles to control tipping, will that work for unpowered rotors? Perhaps a physical stop below the axis?
