I fixed it in my situation. The addon "Quantum Break:Time Powers" by Wheatley causes the audio to change. disabling or uninstalling will bring the songs back

I fixed the addon's weird music now, hoping to get it up soon.
If I can't get it to replace the official one, I'll just have to upload another addon.

Everyone, the reason why this seems to not work is that Garry's Mod changed something in host timescale...

The Gmod Devs made it so the sound now plays at the same speed as everything else. That means a high-pitch for fast motion, and a low-pitch for slow motion.
Unfortunately, this causes the bug you guys are now encountering.

when i fire the gun the game goes into super slowmo and only a very very VERY slowed down version of the song plays for about 15 minutes

I have the music glitch, but it only seems to happen when the weapon is thrown away or when it just isnt being held. Can this be fixed?

I have the TFA base installed, and I have no issues. So, hypothetically, it should work for you aswell. @thetotalninja

Will this SWEP work If I have the TFA Base installed? There was a bug in the Dear Sister SWEP V2 when I tried to use it with TFA Base installed, where the music wouldn't play and it would just play this distorted and disturbing sound that wouldn't stop.

@[Mr][Cheetah] Do you mean the original song by Imogen Heap? There is the original version, and it is free to download on the workshop. Just search up "Dear Sister" and find the original one not by me. Long story short there was another version using this version of the song (Jason Derulo - Watcha Say) and the audio got changed over the years so I set it back to how it was.

Hmm, even for me I am quite confused as to why that would cause any problems. I can try looking into this but I am not much of a professional coder, as I just fixed the base up and changed some stuff like the sounds, etc. @Chills

So this mod is completely incompatible with the Guess Who gamemode. I managed to fix the super slowed down music by disabling the gamemode but it's quite strange how a gamemode effects a weapon mod regardless of you playing said gamemode or not.

I'm getting the same distorted super slowed down effects just like LexBonUltimate but I don't have the bullet time addon. Doesn't get distorted when I use the suicide version however.

Could you add an animation for the suicide gun please?

@Dog take LexBonUltimate's advice apparently something may conflict or activate when the DS is shot and bullet time tries to take action or something. I haven't really any other ideas...

The addon who causes the distorted sound is the bullet time addon, i've deleted it, and it was back to normal.

I'll have to double check that.
