@BLÀde: Yeah, that's completely intended. If they provide leisure, people start going there to visit them and they're really not good places to take your kids or dog. They're intended to be visual additions only. Besides, for a mining town you don't really want your houses to level up much, since the industry needs lower educated people.

Anyway, could you possibly make some yellowcake/pitchblende piles?
@Soviet Sanvich: I might do at some point. Looks somewhat close to my sand pile atm though, so I'd have to make sure they weren't too similar :)
Could you do some roal gravel like this for roadsworks?
