Honestly, even if it's "Stolen". we should be glad THIS mod is here. If Imiol didn't port this over to the workshop, You'd Have to do a lot of work to get this model in the game. Like Manual Installs and shit, and I'm Not too Fond of those. In other words, Don't whine if the Creator didn't make this on his own, and Use the damn Mod.

Thank you for uploading this. i know you are not the original author but i think that for old games like quake, keeping this stuff online and working for quakelive is important.

I've posted on Polycount to raise awareness about your ripping efforts. Polycount is the community where many of these models were made, and some of the authors do still hang around there.


Also if an author is in fact dead, it still doesn't make it public domain to post their work as your own. You'd have to wait 75 years for that to happen first.

I was quite in solidarity with authors of all works and now their name is posted in every description of items.

If you dont want that other people has released your work - is your right you can ask devs to delete work with your authors
but in other cases i dont want to wait when people who dont care about their models or forgot about them

Having made many, MANY player models myself (unreleased for q3, but for a base game that uses the same system/pipeline) I know the difficulty and effort that goes into them, and it's quite offensive to me to see thieves like you just take them en masse for their own workshop gain.

Just because it's old and released for Q3 doesn't mean it's "public domain" for you to steal to your workshop as your own.
