i like caustic also, looks like same creator? anyway there were two really huge player models: the one was the spider mastermind from doom and another one - huge strogg called quake 4 or something, he was released before quake 4 premiere based on concept arts for q4.

oh ok, i just wanted to say its pretty cool looks like original creation (not based on anything actually) and fits quake aesthetics pretty nicely, good job on porting it, tons of nostalgia.
