I think it's because he used a passenger seat for the cockpit. If you stick a remote control block on and hit control in the terminal you should be able to fly it.

FarmersOnly i have the same issue as you. can spin it for days, but the sucker won fly. for some reason the thrusters wont fire

I also can't use the gatling gun or the rockets, i'm made this ship in survival and it has fuel and i'm remote controlling it, I can turn it but nothing else
