Sounds interesting. How do I know it's active though? And would I have to uninstall every time I go back to main campaign, which I don't want to play with mods until I finished it at least once?

I subscribed to some mods (this, your Perk buff mod, and Always Find Equipment!) and started a quick play game.

I didn't notice anything yet, and can't find any files installed where help from game and a guide says mod files are (the last directory doesn't even exist; ...\config).

I'd like to meddle with stuff myself, but need to look at examples to get a better idea, so where is this? :)

But once you do hit those triggers correctly, the event will engage almost instantly. The time gap wont be as long.

@Ninoslav, again those are triggered events and also has to due with a morale between survivors, something this mod does not effect.

Only general events are affected. So anything with becoming married, having childern, fights between survivors, deaths cause by one survivor by another is something this does not effect. The reason why, is because there is triggers based on certain factors. Those factors can not be modded, nor can the triggers be modded.

i can agree with mikado, couples pairing up and gaining children need to be more frequent, 3 cities passed my leader still doesnt have children with his wife.

I'll have to try this out. Does this also effect the chances of survivors coupling up, getting married and having kids (including your leader character)?

@Jesuson I think there is only a one truely negitive event, and that is "Disaster, lost X amount of building". Might be more, wouldent doubt it.

This mod can only make events faster. It doesnt by pass the in game criteria in order to trigger the event. And some events that start negitive will turn positive or neutral, and vise versa, based off what you do in the game and what choices you have.

Those type events, are neither positive nor negitive. Its a trigger event, and based on what your current game state is, it can go either way. Then you have events that are, Y event with X choice. This Mod does not effect what those outcomes will be, only the speed in which they happen.

I would download this but I've been looking for more negative effects. Is there anyway to increase the chance of all events, not just positive ones?

Nice job author, even if this was really easy for you to do (I doubt it was based on just my experience, but I suck absolute balls at programming), thank you very much. Taking a programming class has really increased my respect and admiration for people who code things, either for fun or for a living, and I just really wanted to say thank you.

Yeah best thing to do is turn the mod off to get that. For some reason that event just doesnt like to pop up with this mod.

This has been a big help, problem is that the zombie mob attacks that spawn days away from the fort have also been nerfed and that's needed for the zombie mob newspaper

Out of 110 days i had the event pop up 5 times. That was about 15 mins of game play give or take. That was on a test map, on the fastest mode. So it does speed the amount of time it does happen. This was with only one Survivor having the Redecorater perk, more then one should increase the chance to roll the event.

I will tweek it a bit more and see what happens.

-Edit- Nothing much happened after tweeking it. So the rate of events, depending on late game or early game, will be the same. Right now that is one event every 24 hr IGT, with a random event that might happen inbetween.

It effects all events equally. This mod increase the time between events, but is still subject to the RNG, and the % in which certain events happen more often then others. Redecorator is a uncommon event by itself, but it should happen quite often. I will test it and let you know more.
