I'm still letting in too many goals in but I blame my own lack of understanding of the game engine.
Looking at a 5-7 position with Everton with one game to go. I'm four seasons in so all their best players are gone. I think it's a pretty good result.

hey dude it´s a cool tactic.
I have a question , can i change the sides of the BPD and CD or are they connected with the AP(s) and i have to change the sides of them too?
Cause my BPD´s are left footed and i like it more when left foods playing on the left side :D

@Fuzzy Dunlop. When that happens its usually the computer adapting to your tactics. Make sure you have a plan B formation (I suggest my GameBreaker one as it is also a possession based but totally different in shape) to switch to. Then you chop and change over the course of the season. You cannot steamroll an entire season with one tactic. You have to adapt. :soccerball:

Not sure what I'm doing wrong with this tactic ?!
Gets great reviews yet I find it totally inconsistent.
I'll win 4 in a row then lose 4 in a row. Scoring 1 or 2 a game but the defence is appalling!
Can only get mid table in the Premier.
Tactics trained to 'fluid' in everything.
Help?

I used this as my main away tactic at ManUtd. I bought a different APA (Isco) and BPD (de Virj). De Virj was not better than Rojo in the role, maybe it was unlucky? I set a deeper defensive line since at the start of the season I found Smalling or his partner would get caught too high up too often and I leaked goals on breakaways.

Rooney as F9 with Martial and Mata on the wings worked better than playing Depay.

Between this formation and the 4-4-2 from The_Reckonist, Martial had 51 goals (in the league, it was one goal every 71 minutes), Rooney 29, and Young (great sub/squad player), Depay, Mata, Herrera, Isco all had 7. The real surprise was Darmian had 21 assists.

Tactic is great, but breaks down for me in poor weather conditions against teams with very direct styles. Hitting 'more structured' helps with the pressure they put on your defence, but I'm yet to find a way to make the tactic click offensively in poor weather. Any thoughts?

Playing with AaB and it increased my goals with 3x per match as well my team is controlling the ball nearly all the match. Really strong tactic!

Playing as Wales at the moment, Did the Euros on my own tactic and managed the Quarter Finals at a bit of a slog. Trialling this tactic since then and I have won all matches so far for friendlies and world cup qualifier (Europe), without changing strategies so far. Going to experiment with them, I'm letting a few too many players get a chance on my goal... But all in all a safe, dependable tactic I think!

I do like this tactic, but the biggest drawback is that the striker is a F9. I find it so hard to find good/natural F9's.

Any suggestions for signings? I pretty much needa whole team but mostly a solid f9 for Newcastle. And right/left ISF I need. Cant be too expansive as I have a small transfer budget, I buy rougly 1-3 players a season with a 20 mil budget

best tactic EVER. 6 seasons in to my United save; 4 league titles, 2 fa cups, 2 league cups, 1 champions league, 1 world club cup, only didn't win league in my first season as I only changed to this tactic half way through it, only didn't win in another season because Chelsea got an insane points total.

Two seasons after starting to use this tactic and I must say, even though you're expected to win everything as Barça, this tactic lets you win so consistently. Two of everything (league, cup, CL, Euro SuperCup, Club World Cup) except Spanish SuperCup which I only won once because fuck you Olympic Games, why would you take away half my attacking players while official competition is running?

Only problem I've found is full backs get booked way too often, so you may need to have 2 strong players for each full back position to account for possible suspensions in critical games. Otherwise, works like a charm!

Tactic was amazing for 2 seasons , but AI learned to break it and every team uses it against you even if its not there regualar tactic , went from winning games comfortably 26 unbeaten in 2nd season to either scrapping draws or dominating matches and losing 1-0 , No changes seem to alter this slump whether mentality or instructions. Works best when changing playing mentality to counter attack and using main striker as target man or complete forward. Now looking for alternative
