I'M HUNGRY!!!
I started a discussion on BAT-VICH abilities based on your comment, if you think of more crazy ideas drop them in :)
PLEASE VALVE LET IT NOT BE A RESKIN PLEASE VALVE
Maybe. No promises since I don't know the first thing about how to 'Mod'.
HOWEVER I just uploaded an animated GIF of slowly rotating Heavy with his BAT-VICH. If you want to know what it looks like at a distance... lean back in your chair :D
Oh yes. Thank you for the recommendation.
Nefnoj:
:D texturing is a pain, but working on this contest has leveled me up a few times. The crust is a /maybe/. If we go theme-wise, Heavy might have cut/bit the crust off first ;)
Aren't jigglebones for things like capes, dangling pouches, etc?
Another thing you might try is to make the ends look more natural, either give it crust (bat-shaped bread?) or little bits to make it look as if it were cut-out. Those ideas are definitely hard ones, though, not necessary, since it's already pretty great. I don't know if you know how to make jigglebones, but I suggest giving that a try.
How did I forget pumpernickel exists! I'm playing with that now. Check back in a few hours :)
Nefnoj:
Thank you! I'm trying out pumpernickel now and it's looking closer...

Haha yeah Avocado is an acquired taste. Thank you for the vote!
Yeah textures are a thing I've been thinking about. I'm trying to balance TF2's smooth-vintage look, the Arkham games' realistic-modern look, and make the result a food item worthy of Heavy's late-night snack needs. If you're comparing with the original Sandvich, that appears to be made with white bread whereas the BAT-VICH wears armor cut from a fine artisan loaf. So, there is a level of detail inherent in distinguishing the breads.
