@Baryonyx: I actually did try to fix the normals on the underside of the trees through various means but Dota models can have some frustrating issues with transparency. There was a good day and a half spent on just trying to work getting the leaves to properly show transparency at all, which was an issue with the model itself rather than something in the texture/skin. I would love to do exactly what you're saying exactly for the purpose you're talking about, but even if there was a simple solution I just don't think I could go back and do that for 300+ models at the moment.
Just one thing: Since you can knock them over very well, would be cool if the undersides of the leaves had textures too so you can have freshly knocked-over trees that don't look like they lost all leaves from the falling... xD
