Exactly what I needed to top the ladder-shaft going down my mines.
However, it throwing a critical error
The game has been updated today to resolve the pink textures issue as well as other bugs with the latest update. Update your game.
Another small, but very nice detail, is the little green/red light that shows if the door is on or off. Wish that was on all control panels.
Seems to block 3rd person camera.

I haven't tested it with any launchers yet but if you have say a gatling gun behind the door you can then open it and fire through the opening.
So imagine if your large ship has these lined up in a series of gun ports[think of the age of sail cannon ports on the sides of war ships] and when you broadside an enemy ship you can then open that side to fire on the ship.
Just remember to stop firing when you close cause you will hit the doors.
