one time, I pushed Matt through the gate and down the tunnel. because it is not the manhack that kills him but rather a script, he just dropped dead the second we reached the gate.

A fun fact that I discovered:
If you leavy him and then you wait some seconds and then you come back he will be dead and a Manhack will show up.
So yeah, he dies.
