Dont worry it is really easy, first you have to download and start the Game that you want to Modificate, than end the Game and get in the workshop on a mod like this one and click on the large green "subscribe" button, now steam make the last things. Look in your "downloads" if they are all finish your Mod is installed and you can start the Game with the Mod. In this case you can create a new story and choose Twilight Sparkle as a character

by the way, you dont need to start the game everytime you want to install a mod, its just important to start the game first time after download.

I'm curious as into how this works as I have never downloaded a mod before and would like to start using them. Can you explain it to me in a simple way as so to not make it seem complicated if it is or give me an idea on how to do it myself by pointing me in the right direction if it isn't?
