I am starting to make a ssg-08 skin and I am wondering what you did to get the barrel painted and if there curently is a way to have both the barrel and scope painted also is it just me or is the vtf for this gun a mess.

They patched it, but in a way that isn't of any use to this type of texture. The reason you can get a scope texture on the slashed and the abyss, is because they're tiling textures. The scope and the gun are on two seperate UV's. If your texture is tiling, you can just apply the same texture x2. But you cannot currently apply two seperate textures, one for each mesh. If I apply the UV for the gun mesh to the scope, it looks like a horrific glitched mess. Thanks for the kind words brother!

I would love to see some detail on the scope now valve patched the scopes, but understandable if that's not what you want, other than that really sick man
