Absolutely tip top mission!
One of the best voice acted scenarios I've played.
Very well put together mission, always love when mechanised units are involved.
Vehicle travel scripting is smooth as, well done! Enjoyed the little cinematic trips in between.
And of course the finale... Top notch.

I've tried like 10 sp missions right now and this is the only one that wasn't shit. Only thing odd was the 0-0-1 for savegame, as I was able to save as usual. Doesn't really seem to serve a purpose.

Great quick mission, very professionally made! Only think I found odd was that the AI didn't man any of their vehicles, would have added slighly more challenge. But still definatelly one of my favourites!

agree with the other comments..great quick mission! at the supply truck, the AI werent very reactive..i was able to pretty much walk up behind them and shoot..maybe crank up Ai skills, or even add the AI mod for realism and such...would make this an even sweeter mission...and challenging..:) great overall...enjoyed it :)

Good mission. Everytime I make the AI fly a heli they are slow and take forever to extract vehicles. How did you make it were they didnt take forever?

point 3: the firebase. as a final objective of the town, the enemy are out in the open on a football field, why do they do nothing in said field? the cemetary [where we attacked them from] held the higher ground, why was a recon squad or fireteam not deployed to overwatch the village and prevent my assault to the higher ground?

point 4: the supply truck ai/ squad extract further acted in isolation, shouldnt they defend windows and hold the line more effectively than hiding in villages?

overall: very cinematic and I like the mounting of the tank for further instructions and the combined infantry role and the freedom to choose the assault path. however, i was dissapointed in the enemy strength, initiative and squad-play. why are they seemingly non-reactive?

i enjoyed the cinematic feel and voice-overs! keep up the excellent production, but make sure the opponent are competent :)

Review: a great short simple mission. interesting scene play and scripting by the mission designer with the cinematic huron and the two soldiers by the house when we first arrive on the scene. I like the option of choosing where to go when leading my squad. instead of assaulting down into the village, I turned right and hit the highway, then followed it to the church. we encoutnered only a handful of infantry on their own.

this leads to point 1: the enemy doesnt really re-act, either they were placed on their own with no squad group to follow and"search and destroy" or guard or something. for elite urban CSAT units, they were not a very strong force.

upon reaching the fire-base, i note my fellow infantry squads seem to have halted.
point 2: why does our firendly tank halt in the middle of the town and not follow the road and support us? why does my fellow squads of alpha not keep on moving and assault the firebase.

A squad-sized element of artillerymen should have counter-attacked a larger force of infantry with tank support? You have a point that those guys don't seem prepared for a fight, given that the town is being attacked, but I don't think those particular dudes should have gone kamikaze. Besides, having them stay in that spot is more appropriate mission design for the player's six-man squad. You'd probably lose even more men if you were fighting off counterattacks.

Also, the enemy AI should be a bit more active, they just stand and wait to die in turn. The enemy from the far side of town should have launched a counter attack.

Qutie a nice mission, but the player's objectives are a lot for a squad of only six. This makes it difficult to get through the mission without losing most of your men. It would be better if the other friendly AI infantry groups and vehicles were a bit more active in engaging the enemy.

Cool mission, I don't agree that it's too hard in SP, just have to use the cover and your team mates to flank the enemies. Lots of action, especially in the last area to clear.
