Subscribe and they just spawn randomly along with other trains. There are some mods that give more control over what vehicles spawn, like Advanced Vehicle Options and Improved Public Transport and probably some more.

I've got a seperate collection for Dutch trains though. Contains both stuff made by me and others.

I don't think I'll be doing any American passenger trains soon. bsquiklehausen has some good ones though:
