I believe that's a common gmod-related problem. I'd verify the integrity of the game. It sounds like either some of your files or your cache has corrupted.

I'm not as familiar with GMod as I am the other workshops. Usually an error means the model didn't download properly. Try unsubbing and resubbing if you haven't already.

Not to be rude, but the Twins are not the first formal fight you have in Hardmode. Nor is the Destroyer, or Skeletron Prime, but is actually the Queen Slime.
