This was also done for the co-op partner. Identical DLC and mods activated at the same time for both players.

Activating this mod specifically causes a co-op campaign to become unplayable for me. Tried with other mods (the rest of your Shogun 2 set, The Mall of America), and tried just by itself. Error lists essentially as Incompatible Versions, unable to join game.

Only yari samurai, ronin, and heroes. Ashigaru already have their super strong yari wall ability. As far as the sound bug is concerned, that'll be on a person-to-person basis. If you have the issue, the fix listed in the description can fix the issue in the vast majority of cases.

Do yari ashigaru get this ability too? Is the sound bug still there?

And your friend also as the exact same mods? And also in the same load order? One other thing I've found to try is to look for the text file that saws which mods to load. I forget the location but you can look it up. Make sure your text file is EXACTLY the same as his text file. That fixed that problem for me when I had it.

Well, im trying to make this work in co-op with my current mods. though we keep getting version mismatching. as i do have a few of your other mods working just fine, but this one refuse to cooperate.

It's possible. It is a modification of the unit abilities table so any mods that also edit that table could over write each other.

Can't actually remember how I did it...they might though. I know bullet proof samurai do, so I'm thinking I probably made it so yari ronin get it as well

Ah interesting. I so rarely use no-Dochi samurai that I didn't even notice that. Thanks for pointing that out, I'll looking I it. And yeah the noodles thing...it's been requested enough that I should just change it too. The reason I didn't is because I believe the trigger requires them to be sitting in a town for something like 50 turns which seems easily avoidable (and indeed I rarely get that trait myself) but I guess there is little harm in just removing that as well.

Hi Mall, I've been writing my own mods and it looks like we've done a lot of similar things. Since we have the same taste, you may also want to add "Bonzai Charge" to certain sword units since the tech tree doesn't work for sword just like spear. Also, you will find it useful to lower the probability of "Noodles" so defensive generals don't get fat unless you leave them there a long time- just like eye for the ladies. Cheers!

All these mods work for multiplayer as long as the person you're playing with has the same mods as you do.

It'll be interesting to see just how viable this ability is. I don't think I've ever used it before. Is it in multiplayer?

Well, unit_abilities table editing do not cause sound bug so far in my experience. But yeah, precautionary note won't hurt.

It alters a unit abilities table but not the units table itself, so I opted for a precautionary note.

Wait, why would this mod made the sound bug? As I understand it, this mod shouldn't edit the units table, isn't it?

Or its just a helping PSA?
