The RICO mod is long overdue a rewrite, it's throwing lots of errors these days - not just stuff about missing DLCs, but more general stuff.

These buildings are made RICO by a text file you include with the upload. The RICO mod reads the file and that's when the building is RICO. If you don't have the RICO mod, the RICO file is ignored and it doesn't matter if it needs a DLC or not. But if you install the RICO mod, the building will need the DLC (if it uses a DLC building type) to function, otherwise, you'll get errors. So not really anything wrong with the mod itself, just how it works.

If those are requirements, you should add them as requirements for your asset in the sidebar.

I'm curious. For those getting the errors, do you have the After Dark DLC? If you have that, do you also have the Ploppable RICO Mod subbed and enabled?

This error occurs after loading a save:
