@Raynor there is a skybox switcher mod. It is not ideal, I think you need to reconnect once after switching, otherwise the ambient lighting is too bright, but otherwise it works

Would you we willing to add this mod as a plugin? I can't stand the vanilla skybox and I'm playing on a "almost vanilla server"

I'll add to the brightness idea. It's very strange... But if you look through a window at it, it's simply beautiful. and shows the potential it has if it were darker

@Sationas I experience the same. It seems brighter but I do not know what causes it. I even looked at the mod's data and nothing seems to have changed.

It's unfortunate because it hides most of this skybox's main attraction.
An update game update is probably the cause for this.

I cant get this to work in the DX11. How do i get it to show up. I realy like the skybox and want to use it on my planet worlds now. Thanks for any help.

Skybox doesn't show in 01.116; according to people on the forums, it can be fixed by adding the file extension to the EnvironmentTexture line.

So are there any modded sky boxes out there where we can still see a rotating sun, i havve fixed position stuffs up all use of solar and oxygen farms with any realism at all?
