@Blue I can't make that mod compatible becuase it changes one of the door sounds that this mod changes.

I like the sound on the wooden door, but the vanilla has some cool metal sound in the metal doors

This is now part of Enhanced Audio, un-subcribe if you're subbed to Enhanced Audio. I should have listen to tu stultus es :steamfacepalm:.

@Level 99 Best Friend . I have no Idea why this just changes door sounds and Im to lazy to download and check the 4K safe rooms .vpk to see if it changes sounds too.

We have waited too long for this mod to finally come true.
It has been years, and we as the community have always been wanting better door sounds.

@Frawzy You've changed some of the most subtle sounds in the game. It's part of the reason you had to include "Door impact sounds have not been changed" in the information.

The wooden door sound sounds good, but the second metal door in the vid sounds like one made from plastic in a toddler's playhouse. They sound distastefully hollow as well (although they actually are, given the fact zombies break through them so easily) It just sounds out of place for the moment. I'll give the mod a try to see if I'll like it!:tgrin:

The regular door sounds a *bit* better. The metal door sounds much worse. It sounds like a gate with chains hanging everywhere, which it isn't. :steamfacepalm:
