It was thoroughly challenging. I was only able to succeed going full dictatorship and declaring martial law. 3 uprisings and 2 attempted military coups d'état later, my population had lowered to a manageable level and my economy could support democracy again. A good map, highly recommend.

this is not impossible ^^ Its just f***ing hard :) I needed like a few evenings to find out what starting-strategie is working. .... Just uploaded a screenshot to improve that i dont fib ^^

Personally, most of these custom scenarios I play, I lose, but theyre still tremendous fun, and that's the point.

I even learnt a lot .. bevor this, i didnt know that "parks" could be a financial problem ^^. (because the are not shown in the budgets, but if you studiy the almanach they appear as "biggest expenses). The starting tactics was: Tear down nearly everything, start as a full dictator, just build 1x embassy and let the people starve down. After a while the globalisers want a kontakt with some country. Invite them and build an off-Shore. Set in an good banker and build one ore two modern machinegun barricades direct in front of your palace. Praise the Country as much as you can .. and hope that you will survive until you can build a chocolate industrie .... ^^

BÄM! @Cotorra Bella I finaly made the breakthrough and lead Nautica to a glorius, rich and modern State! I Tried so many starting options but finaly i made it. It was one of the hardest islands i ever played ;-)

Thank you @Alundria !!! for your endlessly good advice! I honestly hasn't played any of my scenarios, but I plan to when I get some time ^.^

my advice for this scenario ist: Lower the econimcs to normal and/or give more starting money to make it more playable and enjoyable for players

dear @#cotorra bella may i ask you a honest question ? did you ever played it yourself ? :-) I tried now for like 4 evenings .. but . . .... at first because of the very poor economics you cant support the biggest group of the globalizers and they become hostile. I played this szenario until 2032 but it was always the same ending. .. The Globalizers infiltrate the required strong Army. And they will revolt someday .. ^^ ............
