I do think there should be a risk of losing a quarter of the canned food. That's how DayZ balanced it out.

As for balance feedback, just make it so that opening with a knife has a very, very low chance to cut the fingers of your character. 0.005% or something so that can opener are still a safer option to open cans of food.

Its working just fine for me, but I might have to add new items to it because i think the new update added new cans of food. Make sure the can and the fork/knife is in your inventory and not your backpack

Does not work. Knives, forks, and spoons do not open cans. Multiplayer. I dont know if it works in single play.
