Oh yeah lad, I remember random quest, loved that mod. Although it barely uses custom textures it was still a good mod.

haha I love the "shitty" mods, the ones where the textures arent GREAT but its about the mod and having new content

Pretty much spot on there lad. The weapon choice was a bit strange but whatever, I did like the story.

from what i was lookin at the mod page it takes place in a battleship in the year 1942 durring the second world war and these guys are the supposed 'cult' which is odd in its own right and plain bizzare but still unique from what im hearing in the reviews for the mod on the moddb page and from your previous comments as well. but the guns the cult uses in the mod doesnt make much sense, i can understand tha shotgun and pipewrench for the player in the mod but thats about it. but a HK mp7 is not WWII esque but i guess the author didnt put too much thought into that. but it seems like a 'interesting story' more or less a 1942 themed sci fi advanced tech setting.

MW was good, for a CoD game, only it's fanbase and multiplayer sucks, whenever i play a CoD game, i never touch the damn MP.My favorite one, Black Ops, was fucked up on BO2, and even more on 3. I liked AW, it was a very decent and cinematographic game,

I guess so, altough I'm not a huge fan of indie games, there's a few good ones out there.

Like those indie games with 8-bits graphics but that have wonderful stories.

Yes but those people don't know what they're missing out on, games that don't have the best graphics but an amazing storyline.

I Agree, but good visuals also help, since 98% of the players aren't like us, they will need to get atracted by the visuals to enjoy the story!

Sometimes that's all that is needed for me to like a HL2 Mod, a good story.
