the error texture is fine it's just that lighting different makes it look weird as I'm used to seeing blue errors in moody lighting so yeah

What do you mean by "that's not what the error looks like"? I copied the files straight from Portal 2, there shouldn't be any differences.

Well, I had to give it a tag, and none of them really fit. It has more detail and a higher than default resolution, so I picked that one.

This would sure tick someone off if you placed a random error in a map, then say you have to have a certian thing to remove it. THEY'LL BE TRYING FOR DAYS TO FIND IT!

@NNinja1255 I'll look into it, but I can't promise anything. An error texture sounds like something they'd hard-code into the game, and if that's the case there's nothing I can do.

you can spawn the model in Spawnlist > Addon > Blue Errors (Ported from Portal 2)

much calmer, players are less likely to leave with a calm blue error than an alarming red one. Thank!

This model makes the errors less "menacing" for some reason. It doesn't make me feel like my game is screaming at me: "YOU F*CKED UP! FIX YOUR GAME!"

It makes the game feel like it's saying: "Hey, you're missing some stuff, so make sure you have addons properly mounted."

That's because the model came straight from Portal 2. Models from that game have a different version number I believe, but they still work just fine. It's safe to ignore that message.
