Also I'm fairly sure dogs can't be made into zombies in this universe because sparky is immune to being bitten and spreading bites meaning zombies don't go for him. I'd suggest changing it to something like dying light's fast zombies where the newly turned zombies can sprint.
I'll just suggest you an idea to make it a bit better. We got this with some friend playing IRL with the RP variant (reading crossroad text and option without saying the exact game effect, and let the player "guess" the option effect)
It would be very nice to actually make the in game effect of crossroad more visual (making it bold, or changing color), so you don't have to pay attention to what you're gonna read before reading it. This could also upgrade experience for those playing without RP, as they just have to look at the bolded text to do their choice.
