It doesn't have the flame edge making it look too different from the default zwei which makes it kind of a cheat imo.

@elwebbaro Is it possible to make the tip of the sword broader? most of the width of the zweihander's blade doesn't being thin form hilt to tip.

Ah, a fellow blade-enthusiast, I see.
I love it when my arms in games are a bit more realistic, too.
And if someone ever has swung an actual twohanded sword, he knows you don´t need a freaky FF VII buster sword to have a mighty blade in your hands.

Just, this one can actualyl be swung !

And this one is a nice example of a "pomp" sword - which by no means says it wouldn´t be used in combat.
Just a nice masterpice of craftsmanship.
Really beautiful eye-candy !

I did read taht crapy description xD * The zwei is nice, i like how its not modern, becasuse its in medieval warfare but really relistic. I saw a maul that looked like it came from the 100,000s haha*

In Medieval Combat, something like this would be owned by a Nobleman, though some people say that there was NO WAY that those swords with beautiful designs were used in battle because they were to fancy, are misinformed. I owned a Sword, and it was just fine. even a decorational Stainless steel sword i had a while back had a decent "Quillon" *The True Name of the the cross guard* so if you have a real sword, it is not going to break anytime soon, only the very tip of the Quillon seen on the Greatsword right here. In the older days of greatswords, Claymore for example, had solid Brass Quillons, so if any War Hammer or Pole Hammer made contact with the Quillon, it would only bend out of shape, since Brass is a Soft metal. in addition, the Heavy Quillon made the point of balance *P.O.B.* closer to the Hilt because Brass is a heavy Metal, giving you more control, and with the length of the blade, you could still get a amazing cut with the sword. Again. Great Work!

it looks more like a Landsknechte Zweihander more than a Montante to me. NO OFFENSE INTENDED. http://www.kultofathena.com/images/2630_l.jpg this is what i believe to be a Landsknechte. but still, exquisite work, and I think it will be a great addition to the game.

The Montante was the Spanish and Portugesse version of the Greatsword. also why you can find some in south Italy *Spain used to control that area* https://youtu.be/V4blRbG7vLI <- Skallagrim using a Montante.

This is an extremely detailed model. Impressive!
I know a lot of people would nitpick on the subject of it's ornamental crossguard.
But the thing is Zweihanders of this make weren't intended for prolonged one on one combat. Yet they have it in game as a main weapon. So I don't really think a slight flair would really get in the way of the main function of the blade. I would definitely buy this skin for my zwei if it got accepted.

Just because it is a historical sword that doesn't mean it has to be perfectly designed and looking great ;) - but I guess it is the golden colour that made it look a bit fantasy-like. Great work though.

@ℭ | Julo: Hey thanks for the feedback! Just wanted to let you know that it's actually based on a real sword i saw in a museum, so nothing fantasy here! The parry hooks are also extensions of the blade and I have yet to see them differ from the blade itself, but fair criticism nontheless, thanks!

It is interesting, a bit too much fantasy, but not bad. The detail I would definitely change is the upper guard, the two little "blades" at the end of the ricasso. It doesn't fit into the general style of the sword. Make it golden and more curved.
