@Grand Moff Tarkin not Sketan here, but it would depend on the size of your ship. The Cratos thruster has a Force Magnitude of 234MN. Which means your acceleration in m/s^2 = 234,000,000 / m. Where m is the mass of your ship. After you get your acceleration you can calculate the time by rearranging the equation a=dV/t into t=dV/t, where, in your question, dV would be 100m/s and a your previous calculated acceleration.

EXAMPLE CALCULATION

Let's say your ship is 50,000,000kg, which in SE is a very heavy ship.

Your acceleration would be 234,000,000N / 50,000,000kg = 4.68m/s^2

Thus your time to 100m/s would be 100m/s / 4.68m/s^2 = 21.3675213675
s

So a ship with ONE Cratos Thruster and weighing 50 million kg would get you to max speed at 100m/s in about 21.4 seconds.

99% of what you "build" is stolen from what I understand Dorimanx. That's what i hear. Pretty sure your the guy the real creators are talking about. Going around stealing creations, titling them / claiming them as your own and giving no credit where it's due.

This mod appears to be bust. Throws out an error on loading a world with it.

I like your thrusters but they deserve slightly better textures, comparing to vanillas textures. If you please do it. They are great but they need it to be 10/10.

Can I make a version of this for small ships (exact same size/everything else, just 5x dimensions in small blocks)

Compared to the Titan engine:
Pros:
+ Half the length
+ Stronger thrust
+ Better flame shape
+ Better power/thrust ratio
+ Works in every environment

Cons:
- Dampener factor 10
- Very plastic look

This thruster doesn't like turning on at slower speeds??? My server has a max speed of 1000 but this item didn't turn on until about 100 or 10% of the max speed is this normal?

@SoSpoopy No, it's ion, but it may as well be hydro because I believe he gave it the same efficiency in atmo, because Sektan has no idea what balance is.

Unfortunately through no fault of Sektan this mod is now unusable. The placement range is now so small that this thruster cannot be snapped to a grid.

ok...i got it to work by deleting the mod that had already been downloaded. i guess the old version didn't update and was compressed improperly, according to 7zip...whatever that means. it works now thats what counts lel

So is this an ion thruster? does it work on planets?

Even though i just make some nice things here and there in blueprint design on my world, these thrusters would help with big rig designs on ships, however, i think this is a bit weak.

Let me suggest something, (if you ever have the time for it), can you make a thruster so powerful, its faster than the impoteh and this thruster combined x3?

Do you can make thrusters with 1x1 and 2x2 Sizes with same texture and an exaust beam like the "Singulary Thruster" and in orange like the X 304 Daedalus? It Would be nice.

WinBringer, yup, you can. this thing is essential for kicking large ships into space from planet surface. even useful while landing because of it's power. (always overload, never enough large reactors xD) i was able to take my station from space onto the planet, and that station wasn't some small weekend house. :)

Something like this for small ships, maybe 5-7 blocks wide, would be really handy...

I like this and your other two similarly named thrusters (Imhotep and Anubis, I believe,) and really wanted to use them, but they're so FREAKING big! I have this problem with a lot of thruster designs, as I rarely build things big enough to be able to cleanly fit even regular large thrusters on them. I would love to see "smaller" versions of these with more reasonable thrust power, because I really dig their appearance.

Are the ports on the back of the thruster for boosters? or purely aesthetic at this point?
