you are best voice pack because you dont use vpk.exe. please create another voice style

i meant loading, usually gotta wait a bit till all the mods load otherwise might not load some parts of the mod properly hence why u might hear squeaky fast voices. its my assumption... i am not well versed in it

@department5 not sure if u always need gscape for these kind of mods but i think its due to their massive size, the game takes longer to load if u start the game without the mods leading it might cause problem, as always snd_rebuildaudiocache is your friend, i myself prefer to use gscape to put the files inside my game cuz that completely skeeps the necessity for waiting mods to load. but that's preference i think

Idk if anybody has mentioned this, but why do some voice mods require gscape and alot of file work? I like easy to get voice mods like this one. My heart sinks whenever I find a good voice mod but scroll down to see that I have to get gscape and stuff.

hi, all the voice packs are on l4d2 gamemaps, not sure if i can post the website here so i am not gonna but if u find one u can find all the other ones just at the bottom of the screen so go ham on it and enjoy :3

@GundamOXZ no, not official servers, pure servers that enforce them usually its Hardcore compeititve ones, purists, would say 99% u are safe and yes just copy paste inside audio , or enter the folder and copy each survivo folder and drag drop there and will replace it also,

@GundamOXZ if just applying the mod doesnt work, GFCescape u just need to copy paste the folder and then snd_rebuildaudiocache, though if you like to play online be warned some servers are pure meaning that altered files from l4d interfeer wich might get you kicked.

Huh, the most that can be done is put some generic quote , or mute it.

yeah its some of the dlc quotes, like the locker ones

some of ro's voice are still ingame, prolly cuz they are very expecific~
like DLC quotings

question, y does ro's voice still play after i replace the files and do and_rebuildaudiocache?

as far as i know it will says when its done it will stop loading and the console will open again, then you just have to type exit,
for anyone hearing scratching issues this is common when its with VPK's i guess its based on luck, mine doesnt screechy at all

after that i write on console snd_rebuildaudiocache when i must wait after finish this cod?

There is a sharp noise at the end of some of the sounds. Would use this mod if this is fixed

a heads up though its kinda long since this was made already, but if you have more than one existing voice mod for noire apparently it can cause a lot of screeching if there's another one installed on top of it.
just figured it out so i'd like to share.
