source engine isn't very good at properly rendering chrome textures.

general question: why do all the chrome weapons in the workshop look wayyyy too white and shiny? it just looks so bright compared to the map's actual brightness

You just have a mod conflict, caused by either an animation mod or a script mod
disable/ get rid of those and then try again

i really like this mod to the game as it gives me a left 4 dead 1 feeling. It feels like the pistols fire faster and i really like the animations and the sounds you made, great job dude.
