Is it possible to set the panel to not close the gate after one person enters? I'm asking because based on what I saw in one of the videos, the gate immediately deactivated upon use.

I agree with the last guy. Stargate worlds is absolutely fucking amazing and works flawlessly

I recommend everyone that wants to use this mod to instead use the mod called "Stargate Worlds 3.0" (or whatever version it will be on in the future). I haven't seen or heard of salcarr in a long time now, and my friend Oxxy who makes the other Stargate mod has done a great job with it, and it also works for the current versions of ARK, so I recommend you to use that one instead.

@BOT Zachary this Stargate mod does not have jumpers. You are thinking of Stargate Worlds mod. That's a different mod by a different author

@netscape navigator - you need this in your gameusersettings.ini

then check- you'll need to reboot the server. I am not certain but I think the DHD only shows when that's set to false, because otherwise you just use a remote/gui to dial. Which, for me, the gui never worked so I went with the DHD/remote combo.

How do you build a DHD? I have no engram for it (nor for Dial Home Device), I just see the remote. What am I missing here...other than the DHD?

Anyone else having issues with gate codes disappearing? like say I have 10 7 digit codes (I use the manual right click on the DHD with remote option) set up and then I go and set an 11th gate up, it forgets one before it. No one else is changing the codes or anything.

My ocd hates how jumpers dont fit through Dinosaur gates. Could you change the hitbox so that they fit?

you have done a fantastic job with the only thing I think could be improved upon is the replacement of the "Teleportation device" with a GDO device then at least you also have a plausible reason for needing something to interact with the DHD which fits the SG1 lore rather than a Teleportation device.

I have no idea the difficulty involved in modelling a GDO though as I'm not a modder but ~I wish you luck.

NOPE, sorry.... you mix that with the other Stargate mod out there. This one has only the teleporter device that you need to equip in your hand, the DHD and the gate itself. and nothing else. The Stargate Atlantis mod does has ZPMs... but not this one.

This mod does has ZPM's. You place the items into the main slot in the stargate, then move them off into the offhand slots.

@Cool Hand Luke , ZPMs you need for that other SG mod, not this one, this mod doesn't have ZPMs.... ;)

I'm having problems tryging to get the SG to work. I have built two SG's and I am unable to place a ZPM into any of the slots on either gates. Any ideas?

Is there a way to fully turn off the option to pick up the stargate? i wanne avoid ppl using it as pocket portal on my sever. also the weight could be much much more for that huge thing.

Got it to work ! I didn't noticed that you HAVE to be equipped of the remote in order to SET or DIAL. You should just add a delay before we can grab items off because a simple E press and it go back to inventory ...

For those asking, if you want to hide the engrams, add theses 3 lines to your game.ini :

I can place the stargate on my server, but i can´t store an adress for the stargate. The left button with the device in my hand does not work. I can dial with the right button, but not save an adress for the gate. You know the mistake?

Also is there a way to hide the engrams?

Hey Sal, when installing it, to make the DHD GUI work I need to put that code in the Game user .ini or the game.ini file?

I installed this mod onto my server and after istalling it the map now shows as "Unknown." i dont know if this is because of the mod or if I missed something the user settings. but if anyone has the answer to fix it, please help.

@salcarr - Your mod is still the very best (currently using it in Scorched Earth). I was just wondering if you could make it harder to pick the stargate and DHD up. I've lost count the number of times I've accidently picked up the DHD. Maybe allow it to only be picked up with the menu by holding E. Or even using E to bring up the GUI instead. Thanks
