@BleedAmerica : No you don't, the game choses the building at random, but also by waves. It seems it was this building's turn at a moment many of your level 4 lots upgraded to level 5

This is all my citizens build. My city is utterly littered with these things to the point where all I see is a sea of Hopper Towers. Am I doing something wrong?

@cpt_nosh : Texturing is the worst part. First try to unwrap your textures according to their importance in the model (if some part does not really matter, it does not matter if it's a bit small on you map or a bit distorted, big visible parts must have absolute priority). When you're actually building the texture, take one thing after the other. If you feel stuck work on another part and come back later. If you're still stuck, try things, experiment, maybe you'll find the solution and maybe you'll learn something.

I see, bascially how it's done normally. Thing being, I'm currently working on a 4x3 office building but am stuck with the textures, since the model is getting too complicated for my skills. Do you have any advice? Working with Blender and GIMP.
