they just love to stick at the river and die to mortars

and i don't like being alone only with my squad when there were quite some supporting units at the start

You get reinforcements later in SP mode. I am aware AI is what it is, and that is why I recommend this as MP.

Ive done both. I thought the steam version would update its self, but it didn't seem to, maybe I need to unsubscribe & get it again.

It should update itself. However if you copypasted it to different location, like dedicated server, you have to manually move the latest version as well.

Why do Bis keep changing names with every every patch, just to piss people off or what!

Yeah, RHS renamed weapons crates in their last patch. I check that out for next mission patch. Unfortunately AI pathfinding/behaviour when danger.fsm kicks in is what is, and they tend to get stuck on this map time to time :/

But there is an error when loading the mission, "RHS_weapons_crate_ak_standard" no longer exists.

One thing: have to say the enemy when attacking the Fire station seem to come almost one at a time?

I always play from the Scenario area. So what you're saying is that I need to continue on by myself and I will receive more troops?

If you play it as SP mission (i.e start mission in 'Scenarios' in main menu), you get eventually AI reinforcements to join your team AFTER the crossing. Don't worry about the casualties.

Yeah, I may have to bow out of this one. Looks like a lot of fun though. I am able to make it across but I'm the only one left alive at that point. Not that I'm opposed to playing solo. Enjoy it most of the time. But for a mission that works best for 10 players, usually is not good for just 1.

The mission is best experienced as MP COOP with human players. AI is indeed a real pain to manage in this one. If you play mission in SP mode, AI is rearranged and there are minor storyline changes to compensate the AI pathfinding.

Hmm, not sure how the AI is doing on this one, I'm 200 meters from the fire station and I still have guys hanging out in the water.. Not sure if it's the way it is supposed to be, but if I'm the only one left on the fireteam when I get there.. I'd be lucky..?
