I love how units with pants, have pants now.

Very nice mod. I can live with the pants, make the factions stand out more from the rest of the skirt wearing people. :D
Seems you missed the mercenary noble figthers though, they seem kinda lackluster compared to the rest. :)

Ok I give it up with changing the armour. I tried the full day with the assembly kit but after TWeak.AssemblyKit I didnt know how to bring it to BOB to install it, thats seems impossible for me and there is no tutorial which can explain it.

But at least I was able to change the colours thats also a success.

So thanks for your help and have a nice day :)

The land_units_tables is for unit stats, not their appearances. You have to edit the variantmeshdefinitions, which you can get by extracting the pack files with that data in. Probably the models_rome2.pack, under variantmeshes\variantmeshdefintions. All of the Carthage units have the car_ prefix.

Thanks therefore faction_uniform_colours_tables worked perfectly :)

Is it also possible with pack file manager ( I tried land_units_tables to change it there but it didnt work) to give a unit an already existing armour like in my example or do I have to use a different tool?

If you want to change the entire faction to a single colour scheme, try using the faction_uniform_colours_tables in the data_rome2.pack file. There, you can change Carthage (under rom_carthage) to use whatever colours you like. To change individual units, you need to add them to the unit_variants_colours_tables, along with your colours. That will override faction colours, as you can see with the Carthaginian Sacred Band.

If you want to change the armour for a specific unit, you can either install Rome II editing tools using Steam, which come with a variant editor, or you can edit the variantmeshdefinition files and manually swap out the parts. (But that takes more work).

Sorry its me again...
I startet with pack file manager and it worked with the video which you gave me the link for :)
But now I have 2 short questions:
1. Where do I find the unit Carthaginian Hoplites in uni_variants_colours_tables there is every unit except Carthaginian Hoplites and Libyan Hoplites (the late version is there)?
2. Where can I change the armor from the Libyan Infantry? For example to the armor from the Carthaginian Hoplites (its the same with helmets and shields?)?

I would be really grateful for an answer and of course I will delete this post so I dont spam your mod here ;)

Thanks for your fast answer :)

Hopefully, this will help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENzyLsYqijw

It's just a youtube tutorial on how to customise unit/faction colours. They also provide a link to the program used to edit those things. :) It would probably only take 5 minutes, assuming nothing goes horribly wrong!

The sad thing is there is no mod which make the units look like in Rome 1.
So I suppose I have to pay a Modder or do it by my own.
Then I would have one question, how much time it would need only to recolour the carthaginian units but I have to admit that I have no experience with modding...?
Jack  [作者] 2015 年 9 月 10 日 上午 3:43
It's compatible with other mods that recolour factions, so I'm sure you could find one to suit your tastes :)

Cool mod!

It would also be great to have a mod where the Carthaginian units have a white, with dark blue armor without all the colors like they had it in Rome 1.
There they looked really epic!

Jack  [作者] 2015 年 9 月 6 日 上午 5:53
I could do that; it would probably be a 50% split for every unit, including the officers.
NathanDrake 2015 年 9 月 6 日 上午 3:21
Maybe black and white people in the army
Jack  [作者] 2015 年 8 月 14 日 下午 5:10
I agree. I totally forgot to give them hair :P "Fixed" now.
