Is this working?
shplim 10. mar. 2018 kl. 16:48
I'm getting the same problem when playing as the Maasai. My workers seem to be able to build farms and pastures... but no other types of tile improvements, even with the prerequisite techs etc. Is this down to not having the Community Patch?

zorwasa I'm getting the same problem. I try to play as the Maasai and my workers can't improve anything. Can anyone help?

So im currently doing an only AI battle with this civ in it, but the workers just stand there they dont improve any of their lands, any clue why?

@loster: You can find Events & Decisions on CivFanatics (simply just google "Civ 5 Events & Decisions") and I highly recommend it, it is one of the absolute best mods for Civ 5!

something is wrong whit my 'Moran unit' it wont create pastures atumatic, (not at all). but i can enter enemy teritory. i think it is because of i dont have "Events & Decisions", if so where can i find it?
Hisoka 9. sep. 2016 kl. 8:02
The civ doesn't work for me ;( when I meet him in-game my game goes black. Even turning off meeting leaders does not fix this.

Awesome mod !! Thank you !! :)
Chineselegolas 20. apr. 2016 kl. 3:46
With Events & Decisions, can have a Moran stand on a Pasture and instantly build Pastures for 5xp a turn. On your own pastures. My army of max level Morans walked across the map killing everything.
Were quite fun though
darkninja339 10. apr. 2016 kl. 19:26
really cool civ! love the Moran, tho i wish it could still build pastures after upgrading
charliebuck64 16. mar. 2016 kl. 10:27
Can you put the Events and Decisions mod in the Steam Workshop? I can't get it to install on my computer!
blkbutterfly 25. feb. 2016 kl. 2:12
Steeling pastures from city states should also incur diplomatic penalty :steamfacepalm:
Krin'Jo 30. jan. 2016 kl. 22:37
Is there any civ in the workshop that can steal iron just like Moran steal pastures? Please write to me.
goodolarchie™ 7. nov. 2015 kl. 18:35
So basically cockblockers riding hooved quadripeds.
blkbutterfly 20. sep. 2015 kl. 9:18
IMO The Maasai are massivley OP. You can monopolise horse trade by effectively robbing all city-states and civs of theirs. Also you can build pastures right up to neighbouring borders to prevent their expansion.

However, the music/score is awesome! For the music alone it's worth playing The Maasai

SirPrizing 13. aug. 2015 kl. 19:25
This mod looks really well done. :)

One question though, does this civilization replace any other civilizations?

Hi, I see your DLC/Modpack. It looks very good. I have also got an idea for a modpack, but I have next to no I.T. skills, and was hoping to find someone willing and able to make it into reality. It is complex: Please msg. me for more details if you're interested. On publication of teh modpack, you would of course recieve recognition for your work.

Two concerns:
1. First, I've just had a fairly easy game at Immortal level by running a Moran all around the world building pastures on every neutral horse resource I could find, and immediately selling the horses. Could nerf thjs either by requiring them to take the normal amount of time to build the pastures or by disallowing neutral-territory HORSE pastures. After all, the UA isn't "May God give us Horses".

2. If a Moran builds a new pasture directly on top of a pillaged pasture you don't get the resources from that pasture. You also can't repair it with a worker normally (You CAN repair a pasture with a worker if the Moran hasn't replaced it.) Honestly, I don't see this as much of a problem, but it's probably not what you were aiming for. You might want to try to fix it or not, depending upon how much you need your work to be "perfect".

Oh I like the look of this. Gonna try it out. I learned of the Massai from playing an old dos game called Lion. These fuckers would run almost as fast as a lion and kill you with one hit. Fiercely defensive of their cattle.
sukritact  [ophavsmand] 9. aug. 2015 kl. 20:15
@ruhrgebietheld: Fixed, the Maasai should now be able to build stables after improving the appropriate resources.

Thanks for the feedback! :D
Mojave Neon 9. aug. 2015 kl. 14:25
I've been hoping that someone would make a Maasai civ, and you really did a great job with this one. Good synergy between the uniques, with the UA and UU working hand-in-hand together, and the UB being quite useful for a civ who keeps angering the other civs by stealing their pastoral land. I did run onto one issue, which is that these guys are unable to build stables. Even with plenty of pastures being worked in city limts, all of my cities were unable to build stables, as it showed that the tile improvement requirements for it were never met. I thought it might just be something to do with the pastures being built by the morans, so I tried using a worker to improve a pasture in my capital's working radius, and I still couldn't build the stables. Other than that issue, though, this civ was fantastic, and represents the Maasai well.

LouisCKdidNothingWrong 9. aug. 2015 kl. 9:29
hows the ai in case i choose to play against them? do modders usually make sure they work on all difficulties without imbalancing the game?
Oof 9. aug. 2015 kl. 6:56
Very nice job as always @Sukritact. Also, just wanted to mention, I've been mispronouncing that for awhile now. I always thought it was "Sukitract"... My bad.
dd 9. aug. 2015 kl. 4:36
Now we have Zulu, Kilwa and Maasai for native South East African civs
axatoramus 9. aug. 2015 kl. 4:29
Can you make a Kamtjatka?

JEELEN 9. aug. 2015 kl. 4:08
@Sukitract Nice. Good job ;)
amelia 8. aug. 2015 kl. 20:06
Agreed, the colors are very nice. Probably second to the Prussia civ.
Roellie Safari 8. aug. 2015 kl. 13:13
will constructing pastures in other people's territory give a negative diplomatic modifier, like when you steal their land with a great general
RJ 8. aug. 2015 kl. 12:46
Excellent work, nice to see more African civs!
shadowevil 8. aug. 2015 kl. 12:04
I gotta say, I'm in love with the color of the civilization
