If hosting a server, you need to change GM.Config.PointshopModels to true in the config.lua file. (You don't need pointshop). You need some other player model manager or it will revert to choosing a random citizen model.

For map making prop models, it will support any custom models for props as long as their base entities are prop_physics or prop_physics_multiplayer.

@5 Updated the VMF link and fixed up the thread a bit. Your main problem is you need to use the Counter Strike: Source hammer editor for those entities to show up correctly. More info on how to do that is in the updated thread.

Hey, i'm making a map for this gamemode.
The VMF for trash_canal is no longer available to download, terrorist start, counter terrorist start and filter_activator_team are obsolete, and other bad things.
Can you update the info for map makers thread please? Thanks.

All props should always collide with everything. It's either a bug or another addon disabling prop collision.
