@star: Server only mods don't auto-update either. It's just that it only announces it if it's a server and client mod.

As for the auto-restart, it wouldn't be too terribly difficult. It'd (probably) have to be a separate executable launched from within the mod. The hardest part would probably be compiling executables to work on all three operating systems. (esp. OS X) Also Lua has ♥♥♥♥ operating system detection...

Oh wow ,really glad to see someone did this, so I don't get a character mod that i may not even be using spam my game bc it's one version out of date so annoying! thank you for this

It is simple but, I could publish it, but main thing is automatic start the server. It's third party software on Windows OS. I'm not sure about Linux.

I mean there is no subscription on server mods. They are connected to the server as local folders.

Well... all server mods are just DOWNLOADED and do not ask for restart. Restert is needed only for "all_clinets_require_mod" mods.

@star: It's kind of annoying to have a server restart while you're doing something though... I might add an automatic reboot for when no one's on to this mod.

And I have automatic reboot system with automatic update of mods of course. :v:
