There's a dropbox link in the description
Besides, John Ross is a pretty interesting character, having led the Cherokee through their most tragic periods over several decades, campaigning for native rights etc.
The Cherokee were situated around Georgia at the time, completely different location. At best he may have had Cherokee lineage.
Nope, he's Shawnee apparently. Are you confusing him with someone else?
Well, Temcumesh was never Cherokee, he led a coalition of tribes (not including the Cherokee) in an entirely different geographical region. It'd be like having an English ruler lead Germany.
A user named Firebug is interested in a Menominee mod, accept his friend request.
I suppose I could do some research, but I have quite a lot planned already. You could go down to civ fanatics and ask people there, there is a civilisation request thread I believe.
It's always fun to see your own people/ethnicity in civ, hell, I've done mine twice!
I believe colonialist legacies are working on one
Cool, thanks for answering. Awesome mod btw!
Yes
After alot of heated debates they technically sided with the Confederacy, but many Cherokee fought on both sides, it was nearly as divisive for them as it was for the US.
It requires Brave New World
I have, for the huge, giant and cordiform maps at least
Oh my, that's a typo and a half, thanks for pointing that out. Unfortunately I don't like to stay in one spot with my modding projects, I tend to jump from one continent/cultural region to another per mod XD
@ruhrgebietheld
Thanks so much for the comment!

Either the Cumans led by Konchak, or Brunei led by Bolkiah (not to be confused with the current Sultan). More likely to be the Cumans.
And then do and evil tyrannical Andrew Jackson Civ, so that way the trail of tears may go a bit... Differently
From the official Cherokee nation website
http://www.cherokee.org/AboutTheNation/History/Chiefs/JohnRoss.aspx
i am sure he was a leader of the good tribe but probably in the 1700s he leaded them and before that chiefs
I am, very certain John Ross was a significant leader of the Cherokee
