At least on first glance, this mod works with the Synchrony DLC. To enable, open the menu > Customize > Resource Packs > select the mod icon.

This should come with the game. Great mod.

Can't play the game without it, it helps so much.

I used to play this game exclusively on DDR pads haha, so zone 3 was really hard. But I hope to get past it soon :)

Thanks for the report. I'm exploring ways to re-implement this mod with the changes to the language system. For now you can try the following workaround (English only for now; quoted from the DDR layout version):

It uses utf-8 arrow characters. This doesn't look as clean as the original but may help those who prefer playing with arrows over text.

Usage:
1. In game, go to the pause menu > options >language options >language: engligh > open language directory. Your computer should open a folder in a separate window.
2. Save the contents of the pastebin as a .csv file in the opened language directory (e.g.: wordsToArrows.csv).
3. Load the language in the game (named "WTA").

Y'know in hindsight, this definitely should have been in the base game as an option.

This mod helps out soooo much.

If you give me the colour hexadecimal value you would like for the outlines I could upload a new mod with the edits. Also let me know which language you prefer to play in so I can add it to the correct folder.

That is very strange indeed. You may want to check your game files and remove the Polish files to avoid this problem in the future, if you are not using them. Languages that are missing files will use the English equivalent by default so it can be hard to tell what is happening.

Yea, the problem was the language. But wierdly i though i was playing on english because everything was basicly in english. But in the language settings was polish for some reason.
Funny as there is no polish UI.
Anyway thanks for help.

Hi Rutra,

You have to activate the mod for it to have an effect. To do this, pause the game and go to: Mods > Play a mod > Words to arrows kb. You will have to do this everytime you start up the game unless you enable "Activate mod by default".

If this doesn't work it may be because you are playing on one of the languages that were added recently, which I was not aware of. In any case, thanks for bringing this to my attention! I will be adding support shortly.

I installed this mod but it doesn't work for me, words are words as they were. Do I need to do something after the download?

This mod changes the same files as the original Words to Arrows mod. So, in theory, it should not disable achievements. Please let me know if you find any inconsistencies with this. Thanks :)
