Dark issue fixed yet?

This would be one of the most epic maps if it was finished, great job on it even though you haven't done anything to it since 2015

@Daniel - so far nearly all old unupated maps have the darkness problem for me as well as missing base textures. still tons of fun and i hope to figure out the creative flying thing :)

Excessively dark lighting, even for Ark, and I regularly get teleported way up above ground while just walking around. To top it all off, I'm really sick of the game crashing while attempting to enjoy the nostalgia of this map. Between all of that and the fact that this mod hasn't been updated since 2015, I do not recommend this mod.

This is an awsome map, I played the original Halo so I knew my way around! But I'm curious, why did it get so dark? It wasn't like this before. Do you have this problem Spartan464748?

Why is it so Dark? Ive tried messing with the Day/Night options but it doesn't do anything

@rawtee69 gamma does work, but it really how dark the map is. i had gamma up to 5 and still had to use a flashlight/torch, i believe the issue is the shadows/shading that made it way too dark.

Agreed JC gamma does nothing, Change time of day does nothing as it stay at 0:00 no matter what...
I have to use a torch just to see. The Shading is harsh shadows are massive as well as DARK ?????

when i play its all dark even on gamma 3

when ever i mine/choptree i get teleported like 100 feet into the air :/

Im having the same problem as Bleu. Both of Spartans Halo maps are really dark and you can barely see anything. This happend on multiple pcs for me. Any fixes? i really want to play this map

Is this hand-crafted, or just ported?

When Im in the map it seems really foggy and I cant see more then five feet or less pretty much everywhere. :<

IF that's not the east spawn then why did I spawn there? You really need to look at where you placed the spawns because you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up something somewhere. But now I see the difference between the game developers and you.....they actually test things before releasing them.

Teleporting from the host is a setting that you have when setting up the Hosted game online. Find this folder located where you installed steam:
Steam\SteamApps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

In that will be a file called GameUserSettings.ini that can be edited in notepad

I believe this setting is the one that will adjust how far you can go from one another, but be advised it may cause performance issues:
[ServerSettings]
ListenServerTetherDistanceMultiplier=1.000000

like, when i'm playing with my friends it wont let me go a that far away from the host whenever i wanna explore or something without them, and when we do go that far away it teleports us back

You mean like a death barrier?

Is there a way you can change the thing that doesnt let you go far away from the host?

Ah, good to Hear! This Map Is a Wonder On it's Own, And The Music (strangely Enough) I Can't seem To be Exausted Of, I don't Want to here it 24/7, But i am Yet to be Tired of it, As well as The facter Of which, You can basically set up shop near the bases Just to Gain some Foundation. Overall, This Map is Quite something, and to see More added on would be Great!

I will add supply drops and crystals later! Don't worry it is not the final version!

well, after Playing On this map for a few Hours, I must say it is Quite The Map, For those looking for water, There is one in the underground caverns, BUT the difficlut part of that is the scorpians, Spiders, And Bats (and giant snakes, only had one though...), though i really Must join Chimchar's Question of Oil And Crystals, Without These, it makes creating Items for engram Levels 45 and up Pretty Much impossible, I'm Not saying there is none, Rather I'm Asking, If there is some, Where? And lastly, Being A Simple Halo fan, this Map Almost makes me want to go back and play the actual Games... Almost (Not Insulting The games, Rather MY console...).

This is to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, Can you find oil and Crystals in this map?

And one last Question, Will you make more halo maps?

Butt Stallion didnt know that Trex's were in a differnt area? Lol That is kinda funny. Their are two Respawn points. When i dont respawn at the right one i just kill myself so i do XD

Why can i not place anything in caves?

It is not even the east spawn lol the east spawn is the area with the drop pods (in halo) respawn to see by yourself and dont say it is not the case I have placed the spawns manually! I said there is water under the energy bridge -_- it is not unplayable there is plenty of leaves so you can get fruits to survive, waterfalls and rivers will come but not now and just dobnt play it if you are so mad about a poor trex :)
