I find it very unlikely that simply installing models(any model really) could cause such a terrible freezing problem. My advice would be to verify the integrity of your SFM's cache. Another thing that can cause SFM to be unstable is large maps with lots of props. If you are running SFM on a computer that is not powerful enough to handle the tool, this can also cause freezes and slowdowns.
@Astute i forgot to say pc and im trying my best to fix it and thanks for the feedback!
Also, I've decided that, if I make a mechanical boss, I will not just take the lazy route and reskin the original model. They will receieve a brand new model fitting something mechanical. This means that it will take a bit more time to finish them, as opposed to a retexture job.
Any chance you could do the Destroyer and/or World Eater/Eater of Worlds next? ( I forgot their exact names aa ;<; )
